CS2 Summer Break Roster Moves – Everything You Need To Know

The second Counter-Strike season of 2026 is firmly underway, with players returning from the post-Major summer break and battling it out in BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 (which, by the way, has been crazy so far). As the professional scene winds back up for the rest of the year, let’s take a quick look at the biggest roster moves that happened over the break, so you can watch all the CS you want to whilst being fully informed.

BC.Game go for a new look

It is safe to say that BC.Game have made some significant edits to their roster. Long gone are the Portuguese core of Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes, António “aragornN” Barbosa, and Adones “krazy” Nobre. In their place are three signings that have come as something of a surprise to many Counter-Strike fans…but not necessarily an unwelcome one.

Storied Danish rifler Emil “Magisk” Reif has joined BC.Game as their newest IGL, looking to reinvent himself à la Dan “apEX” Madesclaire. Alongside the Dane, Mongolian prodigy Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold has been signed permanently after a short loan period. Senzu has been joined by the final signing of BC.Game’s summer – Ayush “mzinho” Batbold. It’s safe to say that whilst the makeup of this roster might look a touch chaotic at first glance, they have some very, very strong pieces in play now.

The BC.Game roster, as it stands right now, is as follows:

FaZe make a BIG change

Well, it finally happened. After a long period of lacklustre performances, the once-great AWPer Helvijs “broky” Saukants has been benched for the second, and what must surely be final, time by FaZe Clan management. Whilst it is always sad to see a player struggling to find consistency and their old ‘spark’, it is difficult to feel anything other than relief for a FaZe project who have been left rocked by the departure of veteran IGL Finn “karrigan” Andersen. They need a fresh start; a clean break with the past. And so, with that in mind, we come to their latest addition to the team.

FaZe Clan have signed Jason “JBOEN” Boe Nielsen, from BIG Academy. He is a young AWPer who appears to be ferociously aggressive, confident, and full of the desperately competitive energy that FaZe need at this point in their journey. A 1.18 rating in his first event with the team at XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026 is a good sign, but it is, of course, early doors. As it stands, FaZe Clan’s roster for this season is:

PARIVISION shake it up

It seems like the barely-concealed threats of Dastan “dastan” Aqbaev have, at last, come to pass. After failing to live up to the self-created hype (after some fantastic work earlier in the year), PARIVISION have made some changes. Gone are Andrey “BELCHONOKK” Yasinskiy and Emil “nota” Moskvitin, being replaced by a previous teammate of Dzhami “Jame” Ali, Evgenii “⁠FL1T⁠” Lebedev, and an impressive young talent in Vyacheslav “slaxejezzz” Vinokurov.

Jame and dastan will doubtless be hoping that the addition of FL1T will bring some much-needed experience and calm to a team which, before the changes, was beginning to become defined by unforced errors and mistakes under pressure. As it stands, PARIVISION’s roster looks like this:

G2 change their AWPer

G2 have benched AWPer Álvaro “SunPayus” García, surprising many after a deep run in the IEM Cologne Major. A quarter-final banger against Team Spirit – which many thought G2 were unlucky to lose – led many to believe that the organization would keep the roster the same and continue to build upon their newfound success. That was, however, not to be.

In the place of the Spanish sniper is Artem “r1nkle” Moroz, signed from Ninjas in Pyjamas. He is young and has a lot of good experience from his time on NiP. It remains to be seen whether his signing will significantly raise the level of the G2 squad, but it’s certainly an understandable gamble. He looks sharp, and has arguably more room for growth than his predecessor. At the time of writing, G2’s roster looks like this:

Monte shatters; Luminosity & 100T get stronger

Whilst this one was a surprise to almost every Monte fan out there, it seemed to be even more of a shock for their IGL, Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen. After a good showing in the IEM Cologne Major, Monte announced that four of their five players would be leaving for a new Luminosity project. 

Oscar “AZUWU” Bell, Aleks “Rainwaker” Petrov, Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras, and Aurélien “afro” Drapier were all picked up by the re-emerging Luminosity, but due to the organization’s signing of Lucas “lux” Meneghini, Gizmy didn’t make the cut.

It all worked out for the young English IGL, though, as he has landed on his feet as the new in-game leader for 100 Thieves. Immediately, 100T have been impressing, with a shock victory over Falcons and a close-fought battle with Team Spirit in BLAST Bounty. As for Monte? We’re yet to find out whether the org is staying in the CS2 space and, if so, what their lineup will look like.

Aurora go international (!)

Yes, you read that correctly. Do not adjust your set. Aurora have moved away from a fully Turkish lineup and have taken the plunge into international Counter-Strike. The benching of both Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli and Caner “soulfly” Kesici kickstarted the significant reshuffle. In their place, Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski and Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo have stepped in to hopefully take the team to the next level. Aurora have also picked up a renowned coach in Ashley ‘ash’ Battye.

As of now, Aurora’s new, shiny, international roster is as follows:

FUT change one

A quick one from FUT, here. After citing some communication issues, FUT have benched Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea in favor of Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç. At the time of writing, their roster is:

HEROIC pick up two

With Simon “yxngstxr” Boije deciding to step down from their active roster, and Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç joining FUT, HEROIC have brought in two new players. Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin has joined from MOUZ, although he will not be IGLing. Antonio Martínez “MartinezSa” Sánchez has left GentleMates and joined the HEROIC camp as well.

Their current lineup is:

Legacy shore up their roster

Legacy’s roster has had a bit of a turbulent time of late, with Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira being benched and then brought back to the active roster within the span of a few weeks. Alongside that, losing Lucas “lux” Meneghini to Luminosity and Guilherme “saadzin” Pacheco to Imperial left the team with questions to answer.

The signing of consistently impressive AWPer Santino “try” Rigal is an exciting prospect for the Brazilian organization, however. There is bound to be some fun Counter-Strike to come, for Legacy. As it stands, their roster is:

MOUZ make moves

MOUZ have had quite the shake-up, after the benching of Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin and Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo, before the IEM Cologne Major. Dorian “xertioN” Berman has taken over calling duties for the squad, and two new riflers have joined. Adrian “xelex” Vincze has been promoted from MOUZ NXT, and Oldřich “PR” Nový has joined from GamerLegion.

MOUZ’s current lineup is:

GamerLegion pick up FL4MUS

GamerLegion, having lost Oldřich “PR” Nový to MOUZ, have picked up Timur “FL4MUS” Maryev. It is an exciting chance for the 21-year-old rifler to impress after a frustrating period with Virtus.pro.
