Things have been relatively quiet in terms of CS2 updates as of recent weeks, but it looks like there may be some new content on the horizon.
The much-anticipated and frequently-teased new rendition of FMPONE’s de_cache has been spotted on the Steam Workshop today, March 3rd. It’s a complete graphical revamp of the map, with many of the layout features staying the same.

One notable change is the lack of scaffolding in Z/Connector, but the hole remains for utility usage.

It’s yet to be seen when and in what capacity we’ll see this new version of de_cache in the map pool, but one thing’s for sure. FMPONE, ConnorJC, Ethurs, and JimWood did an amazing job visually on this version. We’re curious to see how this version will play in CS2 compared to CS:GO, if it’s added to the Active Duty map pool. If it is, be sure that all of Refrag’s training modes will be adapted for the map as soon as possible!
