So you’ve made the plunge and subscribed to Refrag. Welcome! More skill improvement happens here than anywhere else in the world of Counter-Strike. Knowing what to train is half the battle, however. Mindlessly flying around NADR or without much direction won’t get you very far. In this blog post, we’ll discuss where to start your Refrag training journey, and point you in the direction of some other resources to further enhance your experience.

Start with Bootcamp

The best place to start your CS improvement journey is Refrag’s Bootcamp. Bootcamp is a guided training experience that gives you map-specific tasks to target core parts of your game, such as Aim or Utility. This is the best place to start after purchasing a Refrag subscription, because the lessons are structured and automatically move from one task to another upon completion, taking out any guesswork about what you should practice next. Bootcamp also has different difficulty levels, allowing you to scale up your training as you improve.

To start Bootcamp, navigate to your Refrag Dashboard and click on Bootcamp in the sidebar. Choose your preferred map and difficulty and click the Start button to start training!

Included with your purchase of a Refrag subscription are a variety of standalone training mods made to target every facet of your game.

Crossfire and Prefire

Crossfire is Refrag’s own aim training tool that combines the best parts of practicing against bots and deathmatch against real players. You’ll be challenged with killing bots that peek in realistic ways, at angles you’d actually see in regular gameplay. It’s not only a good way to warm up, but it’s also great way to familiarize yourself with a map which may not be your favorite.

Invite your friends!

While Bootcamp is not multiplayer at this time, many of Refrag’s other training mods have multiplayer support, allowing you to train with your friends or teammates! Go over utility together in NADR, play Crossfire as a duo, or even start your own fully functional Retakes server. Recoil Trainer and Community Hub

With your subscription, you get access to training tools that are just not possible on other platforms or workshop maps. Tools such as the Recoil Trainer, which is perfect for training your spray control, and gives feedback instantaneously.

If you can’t find something that suits your training needs, chances are another user has made a custom training set and uploaded it to Refrag’s Community Hub. The Community Hub is home to all custom sets that are created with the power of the Creator Studio, which allows for infinite possibilities. Modes like AWP Hold, Clutch, and Spray Transfer would not exist if it weren’t for the versatility of the Creator Studio. Upgrade to Competitor Tier

If you feel like you’ve explored what there is to offer with your Player Tier subscription, it may be time to upgrade to the Competitor Tier, which offers it’s own host of features that are not available to Player Tier subscribers. Scrim Mod

2D Demo Viewer
