Using Recoil Trainer and Community Hub

To enhance your skills, employing various tools to refine different aspects of your game is the key. This guide will delve into leveraging Refrag’s Recoil Trainer and Community Hub to add diversity to your practice regimen.

Recoil Trainer

Refrag’s Recoil Trainer allows you to get instantaneous feedback on your recoil control. It automatically analyzes your spray based on the weapon you have and prints your accuracy to the in-game chat. It will even automatically adjust based on distance.

To load Recoil Trainer, type .recoil into the in-game chat. Upon spraying, your recoil pattern will be projected by a purple line. This shows you exactly where your crosshair moves as you mitigate recoil. To toggle the spray pattern for your current weapon, double tap the E key. This will give you an exact reference to follow to learn the spray pattern. Pressing Mouse2 will clear your previous pattern.

To get a better idea of how your spray would look on a human target, you can type .bot to place a bot. The chat will now print how many bullets in your spray impact the bot. If you find that the red impact squares are distracting, you can turn them off using the .impacts command.

Holding E while spraying will control the recoil for you, showing you the exact movements required for a 100% accurate spray. However, you’ll notice at distance that the spread of your bullets is still extremely wide. This is due to the inherent nature of how accuracy is calculated in CS2. There is a random spread applied to bullets, resulting in even a perfectly controlled spray having variance in bullet trajectory. Bursting or tapping has always been preferable at distance. To toggle the random spread of bullets on and off, type .nospread.

Community Hub

The Refrag Community Hub is a library of custom training sets created by Refrag community members for all subscribers to use. Custom Sets are created in the Creator Studio and published to the Community Hub.

Within the Hub, you can sort by map and by what type of set you’d like to play. To load a training set, click the play button on the right side of which set you’d like to play. If you enjoy the set, make sure to subscribe to it by clicking the + button. While in Creator Studio in-game, you can access these sets at any time by typing .sets.

There is so much to choose from in the Community Hub. Everything from training AWP holds and spray transfers to custom Crossfire arenas. If you wanted to further practice your recoil for example, don’t just use the Recoil Trainer. Load up the SPRAY training set made by czaaje to further enrich your recoil training! New content is being added frequently to help take your training to the next level. There’s really something for every part of your game on the Community Hub.
